Amber Striekwold

Amber Striekwold is currently enrolled in the RMA History at Utrecht University. She also obtained her bachelor’s degree at Utrecht University. In the Consumers on the March-project Amber is a student assistant.

In her research, she is interested in the history of food and agriculture as well as the history of the body. She is currently working on applying a new materialist perspective on these topics. She just finished her research internship at the GroenLinks Amsterdam during which she researched urban policy to prevent food waste. Her master thesis will focus on the history of organic food and agriculture.
